Osaka, Japan: The World Tamil Chamber of Commerce (WTCC), with the support of the Government of Tamil Nadu and under the guidance of the Osaka Business Development Authority (OBDA), is set to organise the 13th Global Business Meet on December 3 and 4, 2026, at MyDome Osaka, Japan.
The two-day international business summit will bring together MSME entrepreneurs, exporters and importers, business professionals, investors, technology companies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) enterprises, and entrepreneurs seeking new business opportunities from Tamil Nadu and across South India.
The event will provide a global platform for participating businesses to explore international trade and investment opportunities, business collaborations, technology partnerships, trade visits, and market expansion in Japan. Special focus will also be given to facilitating meaningful B2B meetings and business-to-business partnerships between Indian and Japanese companies.
As part of the summit, Tamil Nadu trade and industry associations are expected to sign Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Japanese business and trade associations, creating new avenues for long-term commercial cooperation and international business development.
Japan is currently facing a shortage of skilled and available labour in several sectors. Taking advantage of this emerging opportunity, discussions are being facilitated for Japanese companies to outsource various job-work and manufacturing-related assignments to businesses in Tamil Nadu, creating new opportunities for Tamil Nadu MSMEs and entrepreneurs.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Selvakumar, President of the World Tamil Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Kumaresan, General Secretary, jointly stated that the Global Business Meet aims to strengthen India–Japan business relations and create sustainable international opportunities for Tamil Nadu entrepreneurs and MSMEs.
The organisers have invited entrepreneurs, exporters, importers, investors, technology companies, AI enterprises, and representatives of trade associations to participate in this international business platform and explore new opportunities in the Japanese market.
